If it was lathed wouldn’t we expect there to be many more examples of these types of granite artifacts? It’s hard to imagine someone building a whole lathe set up and then just making a couple of these. Also, they had millstones and such so perhaps a lathe isn’t far off? https://t.co/mXZ72om0cI
