What I find interesting about this is that it shows that despite all their efforts on “alignment” we are in fact talking to the instinctual (system 1, id) level. It’s like tapping into the brain stem and not the mouth. We can’t just RLHF or finetune our way into alignment. https://t.co/2KxI0Ba8O6
