@francoisfleuret My (working) theory is that the purpose of dreams and sleep is to reorganize the days experience, to edit them so that what we remember (what is saved as training data to learn from) is not the walk we did in real life but some more intelligent and organized version.

Good (video) datasets for physics are very rare. A camera randomly somewhere in the universe will see nothing. Randomly on Earth -- nothing ! Birds, octopi, cars, ants, magic shows, planes, art galleries, all confusing! "Technology" is deliberately confusing to the observer.
