@martin_casado but my teacher also always resisted putting Wittgenstein in a nutshell and I figure it's not a bad policy! Very hard to pin down a concept with a few sentences of language :)

@martin_casado Some of the biggest ideas for me was the (1) you can't peer into or understand someone else's thoughts (2) that reasoning itself is completely resistant to being defined and (3) language is built on ever-shifting customs and practices and dependent on such context

@martin_casado I think because I read PI first it was harder for me to get as much out of T (which I wish I could). I'm not sure if it would be better to do it the other way around.

@martin_casado You should take a look at his Philosophical Investigations, it's basically Wittgenstein's redo of the Tractatus (later in life) but better.

Where are all the AI software engineers??? (or maybe now there is now as there is a larger endowment of entry-level SWEs there is a larger output of software teams which requires more software managers which people call full-stack engineers) https://t.co/YBDQPbVfwZ

What do neurons actually scale with is body weight... intelligence is some sprinkles of neurons on top!! This is why I would be worried about the success of end-to-end transformers for humanoid robots. https://t.co/0MsmBng6o3 https://t.co/rQ1vvkzFqW
