@timschlomi Most people are not generally good at any of these things. AI is better than the vast majority of the population. That much is undeniable — most people have never ever coded, proved a theorem, or written a book. And would not be able to do so on demand.

@timschlomi That's not a specific ability though. My contention would be that most knowledge workers require things like access training (e.g. law school), professional networks, physical access to a mouse and keyboard, a library card, personal favors, legal privileges, etc.

@timschlomi With all the facts in front of it and with a described statement required from it, it can produce a statement fitting that description. E.g. with a reading passage it can answer a reading comprehension question.

@timschlomi What is it not human-level at? Are we saying that AI needs to be human-level intelligent at manipulating physical objects **like a human**? If so, that is never going to happen.
