@eshear Information is uncertainty. If you are certain about the result of that experiment, then that experiment isn't very informative. If you are uncertain about the result of that experiment, then that experiment is very informative. Useful is a different question though

@ATabarrok Maybe because if you have to take it for life much of the value is captured after the drug becomes generic, vs if you get cured the value is all captured under intellectual property protection?

@nyttypos @NateSilver538 I think his point is that if you are fitting a trend line only on Biden’s term (post covid shock) it’s flat. Now perhaps it’s within the margin of the previous ten years trend line which is the dotted line, but that may not be reflective of a median voter’s perception
